Quality Quarter Horses for English and Western Disciplines

Welcome to Everett Acres!

We have horses, blogs, video, and photos! Check it out!

The first foals have arrived. Check them out here.

Everett Acres is located in the Texas Panhandle, north of Amarillo. We specialize in raising quality Quarter Horses for English events and ranch work. We usually have some of both types of horses available for sale.
The bloodlines of our 17.1+ hand stallion, Roman Attraction, should appeal to both English and western disciplines. Video of Roman is available at the bottom of his web page. Find out more about this exceptional young stallion by clicking the link on the left or click here.

Our ranch stallion, Apollo Mac, is a black stallion by Boston Mac. We are excited to have him here at Everett Acres. His first foals for us were lovely. You can find out more about Apollo by clicking here.

We are members of AQHA and of AQHA's Breeder's Referral Program. Our stallions are enrolled in the AQHA Incentive Fund and one is an APHA approved breeding stallion.

We are located in a farming and oil community in the Texas Panhandle. We breed and raise AQHA registered horses, and offer horses for sale. We have mares, foals, geldings and stallions at various times. Many are enrolled in the Incentive Fund. Bloodlines of our horses include: Skys Blue Boy, Artful Move, Art I Sweet, Never Bend Better, Colonel Freckles, Leo, King, Three Bars, Skipper W, Jaguar, Go Man Go, Rey Jay, Mr San Peppy, Chicado V, and more. We have or have had a variety of colors of horses including bay, gray, black, sorrel, chestnut, brown, palomino and buckskin.

Our horses have a variety of backgrounds, either themselves or through their pedigrees, in both English and western disciplines such as cutting, reining, racing, hunters and jumpers. We enjoy showing our horses in AQHA shows.

Most of our new foals are imprinted shortly after birth. We pet them and handle them often so they are accustomed to interaction with people. We've noticed a big difference in the disposition of our foals versus horses we have purchased. A trainer breaks our horses to get them started. Some stay with a trainer for a bit longer than others depending on their use and sales.

Please look around our site, meet our horses, look at all the pictures in our photo album, and visit the store, Giddy Up and Stitch (Now open!). Click here to visit the "Blog" page for information of what is new here, and check our links page. We added some new links in 2008 like a foaling calculator and a coat color predictor link.

Also, be sure to check our horses for sale page. There are some beautiful horses for sale, English, western, and some other folk's horses are listed too. One just might be right for you.

Photo taken while looking out through our front yard. Rainbows frequently grace our horses and our farm. It makes us feel like we have a pretty special place here.
